Enzyme preparations are biocatalysts containing active protein cells. They are characterized by specificity, high efficiency, and rapid action, and have found extremely wide application in the pulp and paper industry.
1. Cleaning Enzyme
Used in the papermaking wet end to effectively remove organic deposits from the system.
2. Refining Enzyme
Improves fiber water absorption and swelling effects, reduces the refining energy consumption required to achieve high freeness levels, increases fiber fibrillation and fines generation, and improves paper strength properties.
3. Drainage Enzyme
Effectively breaks down fine fiber fragments, improving drainage efficiency on the wire without affecting yield.
4. Amylase
Used for surface size starch cooking to reduce equipment corrosion.
5. Pulp Pre-treatment Enzyme
Used for wood chip pulping to pre-degrade lignin, enhancing lignin removal efficiency during the pulping process.
6. Wood Fiber Softening Enzyme
Effectively swells fibers, allowing for increased wood fiber content in the furnish and reducing production costs.
7. Yellow Stickies Control Enzyme
Effectively removes yellow stickies and specks caused by organic components.
8. Wastewater Treatment Enhancement Enzyme
Contains various beneficial enzymes to enhance sludge microbial activity and maintain high ammonia nitrogen removal efficiency.
